NATIONAL COMPLIMENT DAY PART II

Ok, I promised to follow up on how my own personal challenge of giving a compliment (I don’t want to say ‘paying’ a compliment because that sounds like a chore) to everyone whose path I crossed in one day.  It was an interesting day.  While I consider myself an overall very friendly, outgoing person this day showed that it takes really slowing down and seeing and hearing people to sincerely connect. From complimenting people closest to me in my life (husband, daughter, dear friends, etc) to paying a sincere compliment a complete stranger at the gas station it proved to me that I hurry through life…A LOT!  My next goal…slow down for a week!  Don’t think it will be easy for someone as type A as me, but I do think it will prove to be a better way of just flat out ‘being’ in the world!
