My Flight Experiences Odd Funny Or Scary

Hello All,

I'm sure many of you have had your own "flight experiences" worth sharing, I'd like to hear them.

Dallas Fort Worth to Fayetville AR:

This is a flight I took several times over the years. I am very familiar with the airports involved and the cities.

The flight crew announced to prepare for landing. I was looking out the window and didn't recognize the landmarks we were flying over. I turned to my business associate and said, I don't think we are landing at the right airport. Of course, he said surely we are landing at the right place. We hit the ground and taxi down the run way a long way passing the terminal. We get to the end of the run way the plane turns around and pauses. The flight crew once again comes over the intercom with this message: Folks sorry for the inconvenience and slight delay. We have landed at the wrong airport and will depart shortly for Fayetville, only about 10 minutes flight time. We are currently at the Springdale airport. They hit the throttle we go.
