My Clients Are The Best
Dated: March 25 2017
My clients are the best!
Last week I called one of my clients that purchased a home with me a few months ago. She and I got along very well and, through the months we worked together to find her perfect home, I was a delight to work with her.
While we were viewing houses, I recall the best moment, it was when we walked into the house she now owns and her expression changed. I knew right there and then that she was going to buy it. And so did she.
I called her yesterday to say hello and see if I could stop by to see how she had turned this property into her home, since I was going to be in the area, and it just so happened that she had taken the day off and was home.
I let her know that I had a couple of appointments and I would be heading her way as soon as I was done. About 130p I gave her a call and left my last appointment in her direction.
I arrived to see a beautiful front porch decorated with different pots and flowers of diverse colors. As I entered, it seemed like a complete different house from the last time I had seen. It was decorated with a rustic elegance and I wish I had taken pictures as samples for decorating my home in the future, or maybe, I'll just have her help me.
After she gave me the tour of the house and we chatted a bit, she directed me to her open kitchen and asked me to sit at the lovely granite counter island, and this is when she proceeded to tell me that we were having lunch at her home.
I was taken aback, since we had talked about going to lunch and this was a surprise, not only that she had prepared lunch for me, but she took the time to check with another client and friend who told her about some of my dietary restrictions.
Lunch was very simple and very thoughtful. She prepared and exquisite salad with several kinds of greens, carrots, broccoli, celery, tomatoes and other shredded veggies. She had added cheese, which, although I love, I had to remove due to a dairy intolerance. To complete the salad we added peanuts and the most delicious dressing I had tried in a long time. The dressing consisted of all organic ingredients including extra virgin olive oil, tamari sauce, lemon juice, garlic mustard, soybeans, salt, turmeric and other spices. It was prefect!
On the side, she had sautéed mushrooms and onions that accompanied the salad perfectly, and had prepared a fruit plate with pineapple and cantaloupe.
This was the highlight of my week.
