My family and I went for a quick family vacation this weekend out to Kingsland, Texas and stayed in a friends cabin - it was amazing!  A much needed break from the city life and just enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in the country.

We rented jet skis from a very friendly, family owned boat and jet ski rental in Kingsland.  They are phenomenal people.  I highly recommend using them and renting from them.  They know their stuff!   You can tell them we sent you, but they might not remember, unless you say they are the family whose son wanted the black and red jet ski.  My son was adamant on getting a black and red one. :)

We rented 2 jet skies for 4 hours and went everywhere on Lake LBJ.  They showed us a cute little cove where we could park the skis and go swimming.  We found a huge open spot where we could catch the waves from all the passing boats and get some major air on the jet skis.

We thought that 4 hours was going to seem like forever....we were totally wrong.  That time went so fast it was unreal.

The jet  skis have a place in the front where you can put ice and keep water cold along with food.  There is a place to put your cell phones and other items that you need to stay dry.  And the jet skis are so easy to operate and drive - along with the amazing training that is provided by the staff there.  Guys, they really are amazing.

If you want to get a good deal, meet the locals, find the best places to swim and have a great time.  I would say go to Wave Crashers in Kingsland Texas for your next boat rental.  We will be using them again!
