Labor Day

Summer is past and school has begun.  September is rolling right on in and our thoughts begin to turn to the upcoming Fall season. We begin this transition by celebrating labor. I cannot speak for all the generations past but I can say that during my lifetime this has truly been a land of unique opportunity that has afforded a diverse people a place to lay their heads down to dream and then to rise up and work to achieve these dreams. Not every day has been endowed with peace and prosperity, but every day has afforded us the opportunity to achieve something new and better than the day before.  We have thus far persevered and to varying degrees overcome and prevailed against the odds.  I salute the dedication, sweat and ingenuity of all the hardworking and hopeful people who rise to this challenge each and every day.

If you know someone who is planning a move to the greater Austin area, give me a call.  I would love to help them find a wonderful new home and community.
