October Fall Festivals are in Full Swing
So many great festivals are going on in and around the greater Austin Metroplex. There are plenty of fun things to do now that the weather is cooling. If you are new to the area and want to experience some of the local culture make sure that you mark your calendar to attend some of these great events. The Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park is October 5-7th, 12-14th. The popular annual family friendly UMLAUF Straw Fest is October 28th and features pumpkin carving, face painting, petting zoo, lawn games, 3 family and pet fashion shows, live music.and more. Texans love chili and the 11th annual Pfall Chili Pfest will be October 20th in Pflugerville with a chili cook-off with live music. Then there is the 9th annual Texas Monthly BBQ Fest on November 3-4th with some of the best BBQ in Texas. Check out the Austin Local site for more information on fun festivals.
If you know someone who is planning a move to the greater Austin area, give me a call. I would love to help them find a wonderful new home and community.
