  • As the days grow longer we all strive to keep cool in the Texas heat, which often translates to increasing our energy use, and bill. Conserving energy can be done easily by implementing simple practices such as using ceiling fans, setting the water heater to 120° and setting the thermostat higher when we are not at home.   • This year spring brought some much needed rain to Central Texas filling the lakes and helping ease water restrictions. Currently Austin Water is in the Conservation Stage asking that residents water one day a week in the early morning or late evening. Stay up to date on water restrictions and stage changes by visiting the City of Austin Water Department.

  • Between work, kids, and clutter staying organized is a struggle in many of our households.
