Downtown Austin Affordable Living

I recently had the unique opportunity to tour Kasita. Jeff Wilson (Professor Dumpster) and Taylor Wilson are the masterminds behind this project and they have put an impressive amount of thought and research into this design. I was amazed by their knowledge about zoning alone!!! What they have created is a unique, modern Image titleliving space that allows people to live where they want, at an affordable price. This is such an incredible use of space. I have toured apartments and condos with a much larger square footage that do not have nearly as much usable space. Jeff and Taylor have updated the design based on feedback and will be releasing the final model in August. I am unable to show the new design but I can tell you, it's even better and the kitchen is MUCH larger!!!!

These units can be put into “racks” similar to a condo structure or placed on a lot as a single structure. They have sold racks and units around the city and they will be revealing the locations in August. However, they placed a STRONG emphasis on near East Austin and the Enfield area. This will allow people to rent from the owners, buy a unit and rent a rack space, buy a unit AND a rack space or for investors, buy up to 9 racks with or without

Image titleunits. They are also selling racks and units across the country. They currently have projects starting from Brooklyn to San Diego.

Want to buy but not sure you’re staying in Austin? What a great opportunity to buy without committing to one city long term!!!
