Texas-born Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey is returning to his alma mater in the fall, but this time he'll be teaching his own class.

The University of Texas at Austin announced Thursday that McConaughey and Hunger Games director Gary Ross will teach a filmmaking class at the Moody College of Communication next semester.

Thirty lucky students will be admitted into the higher-level class where McConaughey and Ross will take them through clips of their new film Free State of Jones and break down the newly released historical drama.

A public affairs representative told the San Antonio Express-News the class will only be open to juniors and seniors, but there are no prerequisites or fees required.
