There are signs that the pace of homes uder contract are out pacing the number of new listings in the Austin Texas Metro. For most of the past several months the number of new listings out paced the homes under contract but not now. Check this out compared to last week. Fewer homes avaiable, more under contract and more closings.

All of these statistics point to a tightening market her in the Austin Texas Metro. While some of us saw signs of a cooling (still hot just not at a blue flame level) market this trend could swing it back to blue flame hot in a hurry. Stay tuned for more updates.
