The Austin Business Journal came out with a report yesterday on the top SAT and ACT scoring schools in Texas. Not a huge surprise that Austin had several schools on the list. In fact it had 6! Austin has great schools. Here are the ones that made the list:

LASA High School – Austin ISD, Travis County

Average SAT score: 1316

Westwood High School – Round Rock ISD, Williamson County

Average SAT score: 1231

Westlake High School – Eanes ISD, Travis County

Average SAT score: 1210

Vandegrift High School – Leander ISD, Williamson County

Average SAT score: 1156

Chapparral Star Academy – Travis County

Average SAT score: 1151

Anderson High School – Austin ISD, Travis County

Whenever moving into or around the Austin area, it’s important to investigation into school districts. Moving into the right district could better their education and maybe even help with transition.

If you know someone who might need help finding a home in a good school district, please give me a call. I would be glad to help.

Keeping you informed,
