How To Cool Off In Austin During An El Nino Summer
Dated: July 1 2016
Austin doesn't get to terribly hot in the summer, for the most part. However, this el nino front has brought central Texas, especially Austin some unusually warm weather. What are we to do to cool off??
Answer: WATER PARKS and POOLS!!!
Does Austin have water parks? Absolutely!. For those in north Austin there is Hawaiian Falls in Pflugerville. This place has plenty of slides for teens and adults to enjoy, and also has a lazy river, a must for any water park to be a water park. Now, the only thing better then going to the water park, is living relatively close to it, but far enough away for comfort! Click here to search around the area for a place that suits your needs and wants!
But wait, I live in South Austin, where do I go? Well there are 2 options for something close, or 1 more option that is a little drive, but worth the fun once you get there. The 2 close locations are: Volente Beach Water Park or Barton Springs Pool. Volente Beach is your traditional water park, while Barton Springs pool is a 3 acre swimming pool in Zilker Park. Additionally, Barton Springs pool allows people with fur-babies to go have a great time too.
Now the grand-daddy of them all that I referenced in the last paragraph for people in South Austin, wait all of Austin, to go too is... Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX. This 65 acres (yes, I said 65 ACRES) water park will allow anyone to experience exhilaration in water slides, the lazy river, and mini water areas for the tykes. The whole family gets 2 rewarding experiences: a place to get cool, and quality time to spend with each other while having fun.
Well now that we got the most important information covered, what about the opportunities of living in Austin for the live music, great hill country vies, and time to spend with friends?? Come to my site and I can help you find the place of your dreams or help you sell your house, by getting a rough estimate what your place could be worth, to move to the place of your dreams.
