The single family homes in and around the Austin Texas Metro are still in high demand. Overall inventory has built over the last few weeks while homes with accepted contracts has remained steady. Looking at the numbers and feeling the vibe around town it seems as if things are leveling off a bit. One bit of evidence is that 890 current listings have reduced their price, that's about 12%.
Here are the current single family home numbers.
Available Homes = 7298 Under Contract Homes = 4733 Sold/Closed Last 4 Weeks = 2542
